How to Read Your QRUR and the Attribution of the Cost Category to your MIPS Score Avoid a penalty and get a bonus on your Medicare Part A & B Claims
All TINS that bill Medicare Part A & B services should attend this webinar to get a headstart on avoiding penalties based on cost which will become 30% of the MIPS Payment Program in the future
The 2016 Annual QRUR is based on services provided from January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016 and applied to Claims submitted in 2018. Claims-based cost, quality outcome and utilization data are based on services provided to a TIN's attributed beneficiaries. Quality data in the 2016 QRUR include the Physician Quality Reporting System submitted by the TIN. Cost data provides the Medicare calculations of cost attributed to each provider in the TIN as it compares to the providers peers across the nation. All TINs nationwide that had at least one eligible professional (EP) bill Medicare under the TIN in 2016-have incurred a bonus or penalty for 2018 Medicare Part B collections. Learn to read your QRUR (very difficult) so you can understand how your care compares to your peers! The QRUR will be used in the MIPS Program Cost Category for 2018!
